By definition, the creative process weaves connections between otherwise unrelated ideas. These fortuitous intersections are often responsible for the most interesting (and arguably influential) artistic expressions. Clio's algorithms are specifically designed to explore these unpredictable connections to develop a multidimensional understanding of the essence of musical material.

Process Overview

The technology driving Clio combines familiar concepts from Gestalt psychology, transformational theory (Lewin), and Implication-Realization Model (Narmour) principles with abstracted data model representation, context aware data processing, and structurally recursive evaluation of emergent grammar trends.

Clio's data processing algorithms are generally separated into two categories: Adaptive Segmentation and Motive Identification.
